Melinda has been an educator for the past 25 years and has served 16 of those years as Director of Technology at Lakeside School District. She has served on the ARKSTE (Arkansas Society for Technology in Education) board as secretary. She is instrumental in providing training for teachers using all things technology as they meet common core standards. Melinda is assisting the Lakeside AP Calculus class as the pilot using their textbook on the iPad as well as all the apps they need to truly make AP Calculus a digital classroom.  Melinda as worked with the Arkansas Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) as well as numerous other student organizations.  Melinda graduated from the University of Arkansas with a B.S.E. in Business Education.
