Jill has been in education for 16 years and has served 12 of those years as a library media specialist. She is a past-president of the  Arkansas Association of Instructional Media and currently serves as the co-chair for their Student Media Festival. The organization awarded her the Outstanding Library Media Program Award in 2004 for her service and dedication to the students of Lake Hamilton Junior High School and the Pat McDonald Outstanding Individual Achievement Award in 2009. Jill earned her National Board Certification in 2004 in the field of Library Media and is currently seeking renewal.  She was chosen to be a member of TIE Cadre, whose focus is to provide IT training in Arkansas, is a Google Certified Teacher, and has been published in Library Media Connections.  Lori and Jill also blog occasionally on [ http://techiegirls.net/ ]techiegirls.net.
