Brandie Benton, Ph.D. Curriculum and Instruction, Professional Development Specialist

Brandie is the director for Schools Without Walls.  She has served as director of admissions and clinical experiences, federal programs and CAEP accreditation director, and an assistant professor at Henderson State University in the teacher education department. She recently served as a HSU TK20 Site Administrator and Developer, SPA reviewer for the National Council for the Social Studies and as a Scholastic Audit team member for the Arkansas Department of Education. Now she serves Henderson State University as the Associate Provost of Enrollment and Admissions.  Her prior work experiences include working in the field of assessment and teaching at the middle school level, assessment specialist for The Learning Institute, and International Baccalaureate for Hot Springs Middle School.

Dr. Benton provides educational technology professional development for educators across the state and has presented at numerous state and national conferences.
